MARTIN Technologies Private Limited (MTPL) was established in 2017 and is headquartered in Chennai, India. Formerly known as CNIM MARTIN Private Limited, the company is today a 100% subsidiary of MARTIN GmbH, one of the world’s leading and most experienced technology providers in the Waste-to-Energy sector.
Building on more than a century of MARTIN experience and innovation, MTPL serves as the Group’s engineering and industrial hub for India and Southeast Asia, bringing proven European Waste-to-Energy technologies to the region while adapting them to local market requirements.
MTPL specializes in the design, engineering, procurement and supply of the core technological systems of Waste-to-Energy plants, including:
- MARTIN ENVIROPOWER™ Reverse-Acting Grate systems for waste combustion;
- Waste-to-Energy boilers and heat-recovery systems, in vertical or horizontal configurations; and
- Flue Gas Treatment systems from LAB S.A., a 100% subsidiary of MARTIN GmbH.
These technologies and the associated engineering know-how have been extensively industrialized in India, combining proven European technology and engineering standards with the competitiveness, flexibility and proximity of a strong regional supply chain.
MTPL can provide these technologies individually or as an integrated Waste-to-Energy technology package, and can also support complete Waste-to-Energy plant solutions in partnership with established EPC companies across India, Southeast Asia and other international markets.

As CEO of MARTIN Technologies Private Limited, I am proud to reflect on the journey we have built since our establishment in Chennai in 2017.
From the beginning, our ambition has been clear: to bring proven, state-of-the-art Waste-to-Energy technologies to India and Southeast Asia, combining international standards of performance and reliability with strong local engineering and industrial capabilities. Over the years, this ambition has become a reality through projects delivered and under execution across India, Thailand and Vietnam, covering the core technologies of Waste-to-Energy plants: waste combustion, energy recovery and flue gas treatment.
Today marks an important new chapter in our development. Formerly CNIM MARTIN Private Limited, our company is now 100% part of the MARTIN Group and has become MARTIN Technologies Private Limited. This evolution strengthens our position as MARTIN’s regional engineering and industrial platform, bringing together the century-long experience of MARTIN, the environmental expertise of LAB and the capabilities we have developed and industrialized in India.
Our achievements would not have been possible without our people. The expertise, commitment and entrepreneurial spirit of our team have been the driving forces behind our growth. Equally important is the trust placed in us by our customers and partners, with whom we have built long-term relationships and successfully adapted our technologies to the specific requirements of each market and project.
